This is another by way of tribute to the late Duane Eddy, I make no apologies to doing another video of his tunes , he was such an early influence on us would guitarists, we found another way of playing using the Bass strings , and his work has stood the test of time.

I loved this version by Willie Nelson, I tried to emulate what Willie was doing by adding a semi acoustic electric guitar solo. Have heard lately that Willie is unwell, but at 91 he is still gigging , how amazing is that. The guitar I used is the one in the picture.

This is my Tribute to Duane Eddy who sadly passed away recently, everybody who has anything to do with music will know Duane as the original guitar instrumentalist, who pioneered the use of the bass string for guitar tunes, plus of course he wrote most of them, so lets not forget Duane who was a really humble man who always seemed to have time for his many fans all over the world. R.I.P Duane

Tangrin has tabs, chords, his own rendition (MP3) but not the midi on his website. The song was featured on the "Out of the Shadows" LP. The midi is listed on several commercial midi download sites. I tend to download midis and learn tunes from the music score.

Did Duane actually play a Bass VI. Not criticising. Just wondering!
Yes , he clearly did, if you look at the album $1.000,000,00 worth of Twang, you will see Duane has a Bass6. not a common old Fender Squire like mine though, lol, on some tracks he would switch guitars mid track too. In the early days he played a Danelectro bass6, and later on helped design a Gretsch Bass 6

Yes very well thanks Bob, but alas I have stopped doing Tuts on here, owing to the fact that it was pointed out to me that I was rubbish at it, so as not to keep offending people, I have stopped.
